1. How does GongBid work?
Our philosophy is simple – we sell brand new products for a fraction of their original price.
This is how the auction system works:
Every auction has a time limit. Some may run for 30 seconds and some for 2 or 3 minutes. Every time a bid is made the clock resets and the countdown starts again. If, during the auction’s time period, no further bids are made, then the last bidder wins.
When a bid is made the price will go up by 1p only. So if, for example, the current price of the product stood on £0.86 it will go up to £0.87 the next time someone places a bid.
In this method all bids are equal and you only have the clock to beat.
2. What happens when I win a GongBid Auction?
Once the clock runs down to zero the last bidder is the winner of that auction. The winner will receive an email with the final amount that needs to be paid for the product.
3. Are the products in the auctions used or new?
All products are completely original and new. They all carry the original manufacturer’s guarantee.
4. Are my credit card details safe?
Gongbid.com made a large investment in ensuring that all our customers’ details are safe and secure. Our website uses SSL technology to ensure that all personal and financial details that are transferred are encrypted and will not be revealed to anyone else.
All credit card details are being encrypted when sent for verification. We do not hold any credit card numbers or details in our database. Our payments processor will be retaining these details in a safe and secure server to ensure they will not fall into the wrong hands.
5. What will be the final price of the product?
The final price of the product will include the following elements:
· The final price of the auction when the clock reached zero.
· VAT which is 17.5% of the final price.
· Any shipping and handling costs (on cash and bid packages auctions there won’t be any shipping costs)
6. How long does it take to get my product?
Once the payment is made the product will be sent to the winner. If an auction was for cash or bids those will be credited to the winner’s account within 48 hours.
All other products will be sent within 7-10 days. We aim to send all products to winning customers within 24-48 hours. Products will be shipped either directly from our warehouse or, in certain cases, by our authorised supplier.
7. Does GongBid accept customers from any country? Yes, we do. All customers, from any country, are allowed to participate in our auctions. However – please note that not all products will be shipped to all countries. Any auctions which are for bid packages or cash are not restricted but other products will be indicated on the auction page. If in doubt, please send an email to our support team who will be happy to answer any of your questions. 8. How do I buy bidding packages on GongBid? Gongbid.com offers several payment options with which you can purchase bidding packages. We currently accept most credit and debit cards, PayPal and Neteller payments.
